Everything you need to know about LoyaltyHub
No account is required for local use. LoyaltyHub stores your data on your device by default. If you enable LoyaltyHub Cloud sync or web access, you sign in with Apple, Google, or Email.
LoyaltyHub supports all major loyalty programs including:
• Airlines: United, Delta, American, Southwest, Alaska, and more
• Hotels: Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Choice Hotels
• Credit Cards: Chase, Amex, Citi, Capital One, and others
If your program isn't listed, you can add it as a custom provider.
Adding items is simple across all tabs:
• Accounts: Tap "+" in Accounts tab → Select provider type → Enter details and balance
• Certificates: Tap "+" in Certificates tab → Choose account → Add expiration date and details
• Reservations: Tap "+" in Reservations tab → Enter travel details → Track points used/earned
The app automatically tracks important dates and sends reminders so you never miss anything valuable.
Beyond basic tracking, LoyaltyHub offers powerful features for loyalty enthusiasts:
• Transfer Points: Calculate and track point transfers between programs with built-in conversion rates
• Certificate Redemption: Mark certificates as redeemed and link them to specific reservations
• Points Tracking: Record points earned and spent for each trip with automatic balance updates
• Balance History: View detailed charts showing your points growth and spending patterns over time
These features help serious travelers optimize their loyalty strategy and never miss earning opportunities.
LoyaltyHub uses an intelligent hybrid notification system:
• 1-day reminders: Local notifications only (work without internet)
• 7-day reminders: Hybrid local and cloud backup
• 30-day reminders: Cloud notifications to preserve your device's notification limit
• Email reminders: Optional, only if you enable them
This ensures you never miss important expiration dates, even if your phone is off or has notification limits.
LoyaltyHub tracks balances based on your manual updates and logged activities. For the most accurate data, update balances after each trip or significant account activity.
Absolutely. LoyaltyHub prioritizes your privacy:
• Sensitive identifiers stay on your device
• Optional cloud sync and notifications use secure transmission
• No account is required unless you enable LoyaltyHub Cloud
• Your member numbers and confirmation numbers never leave your device
Yes, you have multiple backup options:
• LoyaltyHub Cloud (optional): Sign in with Apple, Google, or Email to sync across devices and web
• Automatic: Your data is included in your device's iCloud backup if enabled
• Manual Export: Export your data as a JSON file for backup purposes
• Import: The exported file can be imported back into the app if needed
When you restore your phone or get a new device, your LoyaltyHub data will be restored along with your other apps.
If you delete LoyaltyHub, all your local data will be removed from your device. If you enabled LoyaltyHub Cloud, cloud data remains until you delete it from the app or web dashboard. You can restore after signing in again.
Check these settings:
1. Enable notifications for LoyaltyHub in iPhone Settings > Notifications
2. Ensure notification preferences are configured in LoyaltyHub Settings
3. Verify your certificates have expiration dates entered
Try these solutions:
• Restart the app by closing it completely and reopening
• Restart your device if the issue persists
• If you have thousands of entries, consider archiving old reservations
LoyaltyHub is designed as a tracking and reminder tool to help you manage your loyalty benefits. However, we cannot guarantee notification delivery due to factors beyond our control, including device settings, network connectivity, or third-party service availability.
You remain solely responsible for monitoring your accounts and using your benefits before expiration. We recommend always double-checking important dates directly with your loyalty program providers before making travel plans or redemptions.
